I've used duroflex mattress in the past which lasted me for more than 16years and it was a full-on coir mattress.
So, this made me think, why not give it an another try if it worked the last time and I guess, I made the right choice.
This time I went with a latex + coir mattress as I was used to sleeping on a firmer mattress.
However, I wanted something soft but not too soft and after carefully reviewing from many websites and
finally decided to go with tatva and this is my first time purchasing it online.
Thankfully, the experience wasn't a bad one and in fact everything was smooth.
I had no problems with the delivery, and it was well packed aside from one little detail that
there was a little tear on the outer package but thankfully the inner plastic protected it.
Now the mattress itself perfectly fit the bed with little room to spare as you don't want something
that tightly hits the edges as that would leave a mark on the top and botton sides. This depends on the type of bed you have.
So, a piece of advise measure your bed before you make the order. I know that many sites would tell you that one of the downsides of having
latex mattress would be the smell and they are not wrong. Well sortof, initially you will be hit with a scent of strong plastic, so throw
away the plastic or place it in a different room and then cover your mattress with a bedsheet or a mattress cover. This will cut off 99%
perfect of the scent at least in my case it did. However, if you put your nose against the mattress and
take a deep breadth then you will indeed get the latex scent so don't do that, in fact why would you?
It will go away after few weeks so don't worry about it.
This mattress is good for back and stomach sleepers but it's okay for side sleepers.
So, people with tendonitis on their arms I wouldn't recommend buying this as you would require little softer on the scale,
otherwise it is a good one. On the side note, if you are buying this mattress in the sole efforts to solve your back pain then you should consider all options.
In some cases, it could also be due to weaker lower back and strengthening it may solve the problem. So don't blame it on the mattress, while it some cases it is and in others it is not.
Anyways, after using it for more than 2 months, I haven't found any problems so far, although I have to test
it out during summer seasons to see how it withstands the heat. Overall, I feel I made the right purchase and plus with the 10 year warranty it is no brainer.
